1. Purpose of these terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between Patrimoine Tours, acting as an intermediary in the organization of tourist activities in Martinique, and any person (hereinafter “the Customer”) making a reservation for an activity via the website www.patrimoinetours.fr.
2. Nature of Patrimoine Tours’ business
Patrimoine Tours acts primarily as an intermediary between customers and partner service providers (hereinafter “Partners”), who are the actual operators of the excursions, activities, or services booked. Patrimoine Tours may also offer certain additional services such as:
• the creation of personalized travel programs,
• putting customers in touch with private drivers,
• customer support before, during, and after the booking.
Under no circumstances does Patrimoine Tours act as a substitute for service providers in the performance of the activities booked.
3. Booking and payment
Activities can be booked via the website www.patrimoinetours.fr, where the Customer selects one or more of the services offered.
• Deposit: The Customer agrees to pay a deposit when booking online, corresponding to a specified percentage of the total price of the service.
• Payment of the balance: The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the Partner at the time of the excursion or activity, according to the terms and conditions set by the latter (cash, credit card, bank transfer, etc.).
• Patrimoine Tours provides a booking confirmation once the deposit has been paid.
4. Cancellation and modification conditions
• Cancellation by the Customer: Any reservation may be canceled up to 48 hours before the activity without charge. Beyond this period, the deposit paid will be retained by Patrimoine Tours, except in cases of force majeure duly justified.
• Cancellation by the Partner or Patrimoine Tours:
• In the event of unavailability, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseen logistical issues, the deposit will be refunded in full, or an alternative activity will be offered.
• Patrimoine Tours will inform the Customer as soon as possible and, if possible, offer to postpone or replace the activity.
5. Responsibilities
5.1 – Responsibility for services
• Activities are carried out by independent partners, who are solely responsible for the proper performance of services (safety, compliance, supervision, punctuality, customer satisfaction).
• Patrimoine Tours cannot be held responsible for any damage, delays, incidents, accidents, or failures occurring during the services provided by the Partners.
5.2 – Quality commitment
• In the event of obvious dissatisfaction or a proven problem, Patrimoine Tours undertakes to act as a mediator between the Customer and the Partner and to seek an amicable solution (postponement, reduction, commercial gesture, etc.).
6. Personal data (GDPR)
The information collected during the booking process is strictly necessary for managing requests and ensuring the smooth running of activities. It is not sold to third parties under any circumstances.
In accordance with the GDPR, the Customer may at any time:
• request access to their data,
